Sorry I have been sick with Shingles.  Get the shot they weren't as bad as they would have been had I not taken the shot.  Well now here we go!

The Historical Society will be celebrating the Annual Heritage Day at the Baugh House on August 13, 2016. This will be our 7th year. Please come and Join us. This will be during the Carnation Festival if you would like to eat a reasonable price lunch and enjoy a quiet day without the loud music cine down and join us.. We have sing a long blue grass acoustic music with Joanne and her pick up band. This celebration will be at the Baugh House located on the Northeast Corner of 44th and Robb St. Right across from Prospect Park.

We will have Antique Quilts on Display, Music , Food and Fun.  Hours are from 10 a.m . to 4.p,m. 

The James H Baugh Log Cabin was built and completed in August of 1859. The Victorian house was built around the Log cabin in about 1900. The house was restored in 2009. It is a National Historic Site. We will give tours 8-13-2016 or call us to arrange a tour at 303-421-9111.

 The Quilting Circle will meet the 4th Wed of the month July 27th at the Red Brick Museum from 10:30 a.m. 2:30 P.M. Bring something to work on, show off, or just visit,and a sack Lunch.

Al Frank one of our members has donated 6 of the cutest puppets you've ever seen.  Stop by the museum during the week Tues.-Fri. and look. There is a display of Toy Tractors. Old Wood Barn and Water Windmill and Storage.  Made by a very talented woodworker. The park is beautiful this time of year and you will enjoy the cool air the Soddy.
